Default bylaws

I am in the process of going through our PTO's bylaws there really is'nt much. there can someone send me basic bylaws from thier school?

Hey Bear - Check out the File Exchange link at the top of the page. There are some great sample bylaws as well as copies of some groups' actual bylaws. One of the great things about the File Exchange is that there are fewer "Me too!" threads.

It's so hard to get bylaws that cover everything. Regardless of the document size and content, many groups choose to include a general statement regarding Robert's Rules of Order. My last group used this:

The rules contained in the current edition issue of [I][U]Robert's Rules of Order[/U] [/I]shall govern all issues of this organization not covered by these Bylaws.
