Talking Father/Daughter Dance

We had our first annual dance last night. It was a Princess Ball. Wow, it was so AWESOME!!!! Seeing all the little girls dressed up like Princess's. Watching them on the dance for with their dads was the sweetest thing. We had our mom volunteers there helping out with check-in at door, cake and punch table, foam tiara table(each girl rec'd one). We had a professional photographer there set up to take Daddy/Daughter pictures together. The pics were $4.00 each and the cost to get in was $5.00 a couple. Our profit is around $900.00. It was a great sucess....

Question Re: Father/Daughter Dance

Hello-- Our school is thinking of doing a Daddy/Daughter Dance, How did you find information to get started.? How much did you charge for tickets? What age group did you get the most participation?

We charge $ 5.00 a couple (even if their was more than one daughter) We made up cute tickets. And also had the guest list and checked them off when they came in.
I donated a gift basket of Princess Items from like the Dollar Store and Wal-mart, Michaels. I probably spent $ 22.00 and we made $ 250.00 on it. (An idea for you)
We had 126 girls of all different grades. Maybe more of 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
Hopefully this helped.
