Default Has anyone had a Webkinz party night?

I'm thinking about having a Webkinz party before our Movie night-- since we can't ask for a fee to come to a Movie Night--- I'm thinking about having a webkinz Movie Night party.

We would charge $1.00 at the door-- you bring your favorite Webkinz and a Shoebox to decorate.
We would have Stations set-up where you can glue in wallpaper-- move to another where is material to make blankets or beds.

We would also have a few raffles for prizes before the Movie Start and a concession stand for purchasing candy, popcorn and drinks.

Can you think of anything else we could do to make this a fun night for all...- thanks for your help!

Maybe you could have a station where you could take a picture with your favorite webkinz? Just a thought might be cute and they could make one of those foam frames for it and decorate that?

We have had several webkinz raffles involving our box tops that have done great. It costs 10 box tops to enter and their are usually 2 baskets filled with donated webkinz goodies including a webkinz doll.

Where have you gotten your Webkinz donated from...?

We had our movie night and had a great turn-out... more came for the webkinz stations but stayed for the movie-- We raised over 400.00 in the one evening...
Now, we think we can have a Webkinz party with pizza, other stations and charge 4-5.00/ All said-- most said when is the next webkinz event?

Just curious how many boys came? I would love to do something like this, but have been met with opposition that it is catering to the girls.

What did you do for the webkinz?

As to catering to girls... my son actually owns MORE webkinz then his sisters do!

It was about 50-50 boys to girls...
Everyone brought a show box to decorate-- we had all sorts of wallpaper available for them to glue into their box-- we gave them a window to put in.. they got to pick a blanket... we made these from scrap fleece pieces... we had orange circle foam pieces-- we gave 1 each as food... we also made collars from white circle tags we bought at office max. And we also had a coloring table with actual webkinz pictures we found on the web-- kids loved this one.

WE are thinking about hosting a WEbkinz Event next fall--- 4-5.00 per person-- includes pizza, pop snack and then have several stations open during event... such as the doctor is in-- has our science teacher play a doctor and check out the kids webkinz- give them a healthy check-up card or maybe a pet might be over tired-- need to play with them more, etc... this could be fun (if you have a character playing the doctor)-- stations where the kids can make a poncho-- not hard-- just fleece squares and pony beads) I think 6-8 stations-- Maybe one with coloring pictures again.... one where you can buy furniture for your pets home-- 1.00 and under---//// candy stand- purchase small candy////
hen have a Wheel of wow-- also on stage have trivia game for prizes that the kids can play-- this could be done by a raffle draw as to who comes up or some other way-- could be a lot of fun- --- plus sell raffle tickets for drawings of webkinz- and accessories..
If anyone else has ideas-- post 'em here please!!!
