I found Sheila Rae Productions -
Home. She is great and easy to work with. We hired her to do "Are you smarter than a Fifth Grader" on bullies for our kids last year. This year we are going to have her do a live cooking show -"Like the one you see on Food Network". I attended one of her events last Friday Night. What a blast. It was sponsored by a United Way group to strength marriages. It was called "Kissin in the Kitchen - Dessert Addition." Sheila told me afterwards the group came up with the name and this was their second event in less than 6 months. The first one sold out and they sold more tickets this time but in a bigger venue. What I liked and I think families would like is that she can set up a full kitchen on any stage and cooks right in front of them and gives hints on how to make cooking a family activity. She connects math, science, English, history, art and health to cooking. I know our school is always looking for ways to make connections.
