PTO Today

So we have family who does this with their church every year so this wasnt new to me but a parent suggested we do a trunk or treat at the school this year for the kids.

Just thought I would post about it for those who may never have heard of it and may be interested.


This is where before Halloween parents come to the schools parking lot and the kids come dressed in their costumes. Each child will go from car to car and go trick or treating out of the car of each of the parents. So rather than door to door its car to car. Its also nice to do this before it gets dark so some of the younger kids are not scared.

Some people make it every interesting. My sister in law packed the back of her van with cauldrens of dry ice and deocorated it all up.


So I think we are going to do this sometime this month. Many of the PTO members though this was a great idea.

Doesnt really raise money for the school but it is great fun for the kids.

My church is also doing one this year. THe kids loved it. Melissa
