PTO Today

I'm signing off... my shift is done. Where is my relief? I've got a risograph to run all day for the school (with the end of our fundraiser last week, I couldn't run it 'cause of the counting and processing and couldn't run it Monday 'cause of our first meeting and couldn't run it Tuesday 'cause I was recovering from the meeting...lol...). I don't think the teachers are going to accept that I was tending a virtual bar all night...lol...

Here comes the chocolate cake! Pals you get the first slice and it's extra big! I may actually go home and bake a for real cake. I'm in the mood to do some major cooking-too bad we have gymnastics tonight.

My husband is making fun of my limp, and my doctor called me Gimpy as he told the nurse to make me an appointment with the orthopedic surgeon. Is that grounds for a lawsuit? I punched him in the arm. Maybe I'll bake the cake and then not give them any-wives and kids only!

I suppose I should head out so I can spend some time on Book Fair plans. Enjoy the cake!

WWHHOOA it's sure liberating to have 8inches of hair chopped off!!! I'm already feel like I'm thinking clearer!! Boy do I need to make a shopping list tonight for our lunch Friday!

Hi All.. Forgive the sniffles but I need a drink. Pour me up something out of that blender please. Really excited because the afterschool program we are doing is finally getting off the ground, now if I can get the teachers organized we'll be alright. Is there any cake left?

Something tall and strong please. Fall Festival is Oct. 8 and thanks to the hurricane we haven't been to school since Sept. 1. Did I mention we are also running our catalog sale at the same time? We might (stress might) be back to school Sept. 27. Could you make mine a double!?!

Hey, Busymom's drinks are on me. She is one brave lady to have survived all these hurricanes. I was scared to death and it didn't hit as hard here. Just alot of strong wind and heavy rainstorms. I hope everything turns out well for you and your school. Keep planning and it will be wonderful and the kids will love it. Hang in there!!!!!

Thanks Tiner, but after finding out this morning that we have another hurricane aiming straight at us, I think I'm just gonna hunker down behind the bar for a while. We have already missed over 15 days of school---What's another semester or two ? Time to tie PTO to a palm tree for now and just hold on tight! lol

How close is this thing now??? I haven't watched the news. Move over cause I'm gonna need to hide behind that bar too. Tell the bartender if this hurricane hits to forget the straws and pass the funnels. It's gonna be a long ride.

Look, Busymom, if we move these boxes that will be the perfect spot to drink ourselves in the oblivion. Somebody puts Jimmy Buffet back on the Jukebox. If you guys see one of us blowing past, please be kind and throw a rope and reel us in to the bar.

Boy after you two I will never complain about a couple inches of snow again!....well, I won't be as annoying!

If you're looking for a place to hide, the dry pantry/cooler if perfect! We can even make sure we are stocked!
