It's five o'clock somewhere right?! Mix me up a margarita-heck just give me the whole pitcher and a straw! We're having a definite lack of "take charge" people at our school. I'm going to spend my evening trying to find Head Room Parents for classrooms. That is, I'll do it until the margaritas kick in.

Oh Heck, I did that while preggers!! Was balancing the books from my hospital bed!
Come on over Lisa, I'm just having a pepsi (I've said I'm sick and tired enough NOW I AM Sick! )

I was able to befriend some help through parents that could do the newsletter etc, without the "stress" of being on the board. It's early, anything is possible!

Have a seat.....

Hey, hey pour me a tall one. Been a very long day. Subbing in k again. try getting kids to concentrate with a hurricane knocking at your door. then I have meetings for the afterschool program on top of that. so for now I'm kicking back and chilling for the rest of the evening so we can start over again in the morning.

You've got to pour me another one while i tell ya this story. I just called the pto pres to ask if she thought some thing that was being donated would make a good prize or if we should change it to something else. The reply, "oh, you are working on getting prizes? I didn't know that! I thought the companies just called the schools when they wanted to donate something." What do ya think of that one? Magic donations--I must be working too hard!?!?!?!

Getting ready for the State Board of Managers meeting this Thursday, Friday and Sat(?, gotta check the itinerary...) and spent all morning at the school distributing the membership packets (486+43 staff, which I correlated and stapled myself- This year's theme "We're nuts about PTA" and no I didn't get it from the Peanut shells.) Then had to hang the charts, seemed easy enough until I realized I was only 5'3" and with a chair, I still couldn't reach the top...

NEED to dull the muscle pain but have to work tomorrow. Shoot me a Guiness, backhoed! And Rock Lobster is on the jukebox but personally I think that one is overplayed, but for you... Ever heard the B52s "Wig" (lyrics here- http://www.lyrics007.com/The%20B-52's%20Lyrics/Wig%20Lyrics.html )
Way more fun and coming up next! Trust me, you'll like it!

MichelleB are ya sure ya didn't get the nuts idea from our peanut shells... or maybe it was YOU who bought the leftover nut shells and threw...I mean "distributed them" all around my bar floor!!

Look out for the Guiness (as it slides down the bartop to MichelleB)

I am so sorry to see that you are a "Carpal Tunnel Candidate"! HAHAHAHAHAHA... THATS A NEW ONE! (as I sit there with a thought bubble over my head..."Tim is a very creative dude" me thinks)

tanks berry much for the lyrics... will have to check it out.

'Morning!!
Feeling ssssssoooooooo much better, put still should stick with the vitamin c thing, fuzzy navel sounds good, backhoed...please???

First meeting last night went real well! Still in a small panic mode on the inside, two moms want to do a Santa Shop. I've NEVER done this. THe PTO did many moons ago before me and it was a flop. Also I'm worried that all the times they want to have this open will end up on my "stay at home mom" shoulders. My husband did remind me "If you don't like it, don't put yourself out there to help so much. It's not like you haven't been doing anything all five-six years! " Now I remember why I love him!

Michelle, come on....you took that nut idea from here! I wish I could have been there for ya withthe posters, I'm 5'8" with long arms! Hey Tiner, have you had anyone just donate massages?? THAT could be a good thing!

Does that juke box have "Dead Beat Club"???? LOVE that song!
