PTO Today

Throw me another margerita!!! I just Peed off the entire room at PTO. It's been a long day. Wish I had been there to help with the sign--I'm 5'8" too and with her on one side and me on the other, we would have been done in no time and no pain. As far as the lights go, tell her to worry about food additives and leave the rest of us alone. That should keep her busy for a while I did get a 1/2 hour massage donated. I am putting it in a basket for ladies with makeup,haircut,wine,chocolates,bubble bath,candles,romance novels, dinner at red lobster, a manicure and a work out. I am so excited about fall festival - guess who is chairperson????? OK so it's me. That is what all the fuss at pto was about. noone volunteer and then I and another parent volunteer and they want to make the comittee meetings when she is at work for goodness sake she is co-chairperson,I think she needs to be there. Also, complains about too many notes being sent home about the festival. well,duh? They want to complain but when it comes to the money they are right there with their hands out. Man, it makes me mad!!!!!!!! Well, the alcohol is kicking in now that I got that off my chest, Wow, I'm feelling good.

Well All, now that my duty is done, I will be staggering on home now so that I can get some rest to be bright and shiny in the morning so that I can go sort prizes for the fall festival. I can not beleive they just dumped all that into one tote. Hope your open tomarrow night. Won't need a glass just a pitcher and a straw. Thats if I don't end up in the looney bin from all the sorting in the back room of the gym. Send out a possee if you don't hear from me in 3 days. I'm lost in the gym somewhere and when theres no hurricane Florida is very nice. Who wants to go to the beach?? Goodnight all!!! [img]tongue.gif[/img]

I have this great recipe for mango/pineapple mix with cocnut rum, add a little ice, blend nice and yum, yum, yum!!!I'll have you falling off the stool in no time.

First PTA meeting at the new school tonight (aside from exec board) and it went VERY well. 29 people there and a lot of conversation, 9 new volunteers and 28 kids in the contest so far (the massage is raffle prize for staff membership)

I have to put up another banner. We have preschool in the school and they don't have a banner. I here that you Amazon women will help me out?

okay what did you guys give me last night? I had peanut shells in my hair and my head is pounding so much. first meeting tonight and our first true rebuilding year(lost 11 volunteers this year due to moving up) so I will need a drink later...keep my stool warm will you michelle....

My Dad tried the "shot of Jack" with my mom one time when she had bronchitis. She said she was afraid to go to sleep for fear she was going to die then she had dreams that giant dill pickles were chasing her!

We were more of a beer family. I remember this "superior" young man who worked for me when I was running a video store right after college. Some nights after work we'd all head to a bar to release the tensions of the day. He liked to challenge people to guzzling contests. I finally got sick of hearing him, took him up on the challenge and whipped his a** three times. He never asked again. If I did that now, I fall off my chair after the first one! Ah, the crazy days of youth!

My gosh, I stopped to answer the phone and you guys got clear to another page!!

Hey backhoed, LOL @ hiding out. I guess you could say that. It's nice to have an excuse to not shower or leave the house for a few days. (I did shower before I came here though, just ignore the peas spit up)
