Have any of you checked out www.freecycle.org? Its a website designed to keep items out of landfills. I have used it personally to "get rid" of stuff and to pick up items that others are getting rid of. Just this week, I posted that our PTO was looking for rolls of raffle tickets and within the hour of posting my request, I had 2 people email me offering me 3 rolls of unused raffle tickets. We will be using them this weekend at our Town Fair that is sponsored by the PTO and the best part is the raffle tickets were FREE!!!! This might be a great site to pick up some items for your schools. Have fun .. Remember, one persons trash is another persons treasure!!

FreeCycle is wonderful. I've given away bunk beds, computers, monitors, all kinds of stuff. Its a wonderful service!

Thumbs up

I have used the one we have here in Buffalo several times to get things and get rid of things. Its a great idea. I'm thinking of requesting a coat rack for our PTO room. We always have coats laying all over over the tables in the winter.
