The Colts are 11-0 and I'm hoping for a ND vs. Penn St (Fiesta Bowl) but I dont think it'll happen.

I see that "D-Day" means different things in different homes. In our home it's a celebration of my husbands divorce from wife #1. I think our judge had a sense of humor about him.

The rest of my guys like U of M expect one who is a Mich. State fan.????? He did dress up for Halloween as a Mich State fan & boy did he take a bunch of **********. Now I gotta start my Christmas baking & getting ready for Family Reading Night. Ugh!!! Never ending!!!!

Cool

Sure, why not!!! I love to bake. I run out of room to put things. I even take stuff to school for the teacher's lounge & the classrooms. I drive my hubby nuts this time of year.

Not one turkey and cranberry sauce sandwich for me! The kids eat more now and Grandma got a smaller turkey so there weren't leftovers!! I'm going to buy a turkey breast and cook it this weekend so I can have my sandwiches!

I'm ready to start the baking too. I'm in the mood for fudge so I'll whip up a batch of that too. Old fashioned with real butter.....so good and so bad all at the same time!

Hey Shawn- Iowa State is going to a bowl game!! Stay tuned for a firing of a Colorado coach! No not Broncos (they worship that guy!) CU's coach's job is up in the air. Now to finish decorating and start baking. Bought a 9 foot Christmas tree....9 feet. Sure looked pretty in the store, looks HUGE in my house! HA! No longer have a formal living room but the CHristmas tree room!

Oh mykids, I did the same thing a few years ago. I was so busy worrying about getting the right height that I didn't think about how big around the tree was. Got it home, set it up, couldn't get through the living room entry! So instead of having it in the front windows, it's at the back of the living room in the corner. You can still see it from the street if you look in, so it worked out okay.

I have a free evening tonight and I'm in the mood to bake!!

The hubby wants so much to go to the mountains and cut a fresh tree....not so much fun to me and reason for the new tree. Some how driving that far, walking aroung aimlessly looking for the perdect tree, getting it down the mountain, attaching it to the truck, going do the mountain, and my luck we would bring a squirrel with it!

Store, put in cart, pay, put in car, go home. Much easier!!!
