Hope the first month of the new year has gotten you all off to a great start.

I'm now ready to take on the world after the mandatory mourning of my "Fighting Irish" and Indianapolis Colts" and adopted USC Trojans plus finally kicking this stinking illness (its been almost as bad as Vanderjagts field goal attempt) although I did kick it successfully

Well, here in Bronco land I'm fine but you would think the world came to an end! Okay...the football season for Denver football fans did but jesh.

You would love hearing the blame game on the radio now! Amazing no one will even touch or mention Coach Shannahan. Granted he is a great guy and a blast on the radio but it's funny. I belive we already have a new Defense Cordinator...can't remember.

Other than that, this month has been funny. With all the Admin changes that were made last year (Spring of '05) it's fun to hear all these ideas come out of the woodwork that the former Admin said no to and the new is saying sure! I mean I'm giddy over the thought of getting to paint the staff lounge! (Yes it is the little things!!) BUt there are still those that act as nothing has changed and that is were I stand here bagging my head! Oh well. As long as the new director sees that a change is good...all is good!

I should know better that to take a drink of something and read your posts, Shawn. Now I have to clean up my keyboard....thanks!

I do agree that the small/simple things in live can make for a great day. Ours is so simple. Our library will be painted and we (PTO) get to help with the process. New decorations, choosing the color, making it so much more inviting! I'm so excited, can't you tell???

I am a lapsed Titan fan and I really don't keep up with football anymore. Though I do like Manning. So was Vanderjagt's kick worse than Del Graco's from a few years ago. Surely not.

I was supposed to have surgery on the 9th but I had an "upper respiratory infection." So they postponed it for two weeks. Not fun. Right in the middle of Winter Fest planning! But I had it done Monday and I am doing great. My hubby has spoiled me this week and I have had time to sit back and think about games and volunteers etc. Things seem to be falling into place now. I have really lost my touch with planning events...and communication...and anything else that a good PTO pres is supposed to do. Well the year is almost over. Right?

It went off his foot at the 46 yd line. and went straight but diagonal toward the 44yd line. As David Letterman saw "Whhooofff" as he moves his hand like a sideways karate chop

Fighting Irish and Trojans????

That's like rooting for Luke and Darth Vader.

That's like rooting for good and evil.

I've never heard of such a thing. Does not compute. Come back to the light.

Tim

Our January was going very well. We made about a grand off our krispy Kremes sale and donuts with dad was FANTASTIC!!!! Almost 500 dads and kids at our two schools!!
BUT, our BOE just voted Thursday night to privatize our custodial services. This decision affects so many people that we know and love. I certainly understand and respect that the board had to make a tough call. Our district will save over 160k in privatizing, but now two close friends will be unemployed and we just don't think the company being brought in will go above and beyond for our kids like our custodians do now.

I know but I taght a few classes at USC and I have freinds that get me great tickets. Since the only other team worth getting tix for are the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, its kinda hard not to attend the game and not root for 'em. I always wear my ND shirt and USC hat and get plenty of funny looks. 'Cept during the ND-USC game then its usually the look of death and I dont wear the SC hat.
