Help me I'm trying a new yearbook format. We are doing digital this year. My largest problem getting photos. My three children and I attend school out of district. It is a 35 minute commute. One child is in HS, MS and EL. I teach in two different elementary schools. I would love some ideas to get involvement and photos. One idea I had was to provide disposible camera's at events for colateral. Just to make sure we get cameras back. For example keys for a camera. I could also benefit from letters/such that I can send home. Thanks in advance.

I have found that all you need is to ask and parents will send in photos from events--I know here at our school alot of parents bring cameras to the event and all PTO officers bring cameras and the principal always has his camera--so maybe just send out a letter asking for event pictures--and parents may send in some.

The guy that does the yearbook at our school frequently puts something in the weekly newsletter requesting photos of recent school events. He also comes to most events and takes pictures specifically for the yearbook.
