I am planning a "trunk or treat" event for our elementary school's Holloween/Fall Festival Party, and I would love any ideas! Thanks!

I have an at-home Halloween idea for anyone who's interested. It's something I thought of when my girls were real little. Now, they're 6 and 9, we'll be at Disney for Halloween this year and they are nervous about...

How is the Halloween Witch going to find us if we're not home?!?!?!

Here's what I do, real simple but they get the BIGGEST kick out of it.

I get a couple of cool Halloweeny trinkets at a store (funky flashlights, cute stuffed spiders, new candy buckets, etc.), hide them until the kids are completely preoccupied doing something outside or downstairs a couple days before Halloween then...

Did you hear that? Yes, it was the witch's cackle, listen! (Then they listen real close and say they think they can hear her - so cute!) They run upstairs and find the trinkets on their beds!

I told my hubby I'm going to hide this year's goods in a tote bag, he's in charge of preoccupying the girls one morning on our way out of the hotel to one of the parks and I'll talk to the hotel manager about them putting the stuff in our room for the girls to find!

Oh, geesh, sorry so long...but have fun with it!
