PTO Today

Hi All -

Just a heads-up that boards will likely be down for a couple of hours this weekend or early Monday AM. We're actually installing a whole new software system behind (powering) the boards.

The changes will be fairly small on the outside:

1. Look-and-feel and functionailty will be quite similar

2. There will no longer be both a log-in name and a public name. You'll only use your public name. (The name that appears with your posts when you post)

But the back-end will be vastly improved. More stable. More reliable. And we will have some bells-and-whistles at our disposal that we may play with over time.

Guess I won't have a place to go and procrastinate. Time to get that PTO checklist done!

School starts up again Monday and I'll be back in full swing with "stuff"

Seriously, Tim, it's clear that you and your team are working very hard to make this site the best and I appreciate that. It's a wonderful resource for the work we do and an invaluable social outlet. Thanks so much!

even with a new title Tim I second what Crewchief said this place is such a huge help to even us old timers...couldn't imagine my life without it!

Tim - Brilliant work!!!! You and your team are amazing. I love the new look and, frankly, I'm having a little too much fun checking out all of the new features. It's Monday morning and I have tons of work to do.....

I'll be very sad if anyone puts me on their ignore list.
