This was one of the most powerful documents we created. It was handed out at meetings (especially to kick off the year), displayed as a slide at general meetings, and one year printed as as a poster.

Many people are not clear about the PTO's role - a few even confuse the PTO "board" with the School Board! Having a document like this helped us more clearly set expectations. In meetings, when discussions arose outside our scope - like school policy issues - we could point to this and remind people where the boundaries were.
