What is the Happy Healthy School Kids program?

The Happy Healthy School Kids program is designed to help your group promote and enhance your school's health and well-being efforts within your school community. Our complimentary gift packs are a great way for you to encourage parents to make healthier choices at home — each pack includes a copy of Thrive (featuring health and wellness tips and high value coupons) and select samples that make it easier for parents to do just that.

What do I get by signing up?

If you are selected to participate, your group will receive approximately 200 complimentary gift packs to share with your school's parents at any school-family event that is planned between February 19 and March 31, 2013. Gift packs will include a variety of samples from family-friendly brands, as well as a copy of Thrive, featuring health and wellness tips and high value coupons. Gift packs are for distribution to parents only.

What is Thrive?

Thrive is our mini health and wellness digest featuring articles, tips and ideas to help families live well in their day to day lives. The content in Thrive is developed by the same PTO Today team that brings you Jump In! magazine (part of our Back2School program). Check out a few pages from last year's issue of Thrive!

What kind of samples and offers will be in the gift packs? What kind of ads and offers will be in the Thrive?

Supporters of this program are carefully selected by PTO Today. We take pride in only displaying companies featuring family-friendly messages. Samples, special offers and coupons are focused on those products and services that are meant to support happiness, health and/or wellness efforts at home.

Who can participate in the Happy Healthy School Kids program?

At this time, our Happy Healthy School Kids program is open to all K-8 parent groups in the United States, but you must be an officer in your school's parent group to sign up. We can only provide this service to a limited number of schools, therefore, registration does not guarantee inclusion. We also reserve the right to choose which groups may take advantage of this program.

Where and when will the gift packs be delivered?

You must have an approximate date planned for your school-family event to help us determine your school's eligibility to participate in this offer. Your event must be held between February 19 and March 31, and it must be a large school-family event where parents will be in attendance with their kids. Your shipment of approximately 200 gift packs will be delivered to your school address and marked to your attention. Materials cannot be sent to a PO Box. You will receive your shipment prior to the event date that you provide during this offer's registration process.
