Holiday Craft Show

“Instead of doing a Santa’s Workshop, we invite crafters and vendors for a Holiday Craft Show (they pay a table fee $25 per 6- to 8-foot table). We also ask all vendors to try to provide $5 or less items for the kids to be able to shop for family and friends. It allows the kids to purchase a bit more quality stuff, and is a lot less hassle for us. To get additional revenue during the event, we also ask each vendor for a raffle donation. They are happy to oblige and the school families and local community loved it. This year [2011] was our first year and we had more than 30 vendors and a steady flow of shoppers. We did not charge an admission fee. I am thinking we’ll definitely do it again!”
