“PTO Manager has changed the life of the Pomfret Community School PTO. Since beginning to use the Manager in September 2005, we have much better communication with the PTO members. We especially love the way that PTO Manager can send out mass emails. We use this feature a lot. We have an updated volunteer sheet that is handed out at the beginning of the year at Open Houses that we hold and when that information is turned in, I enter all the current information into the Manager. It is extremely useful, as I set it up to ask all the questions that are available in the Volunteer screens of the Manager. When we need volunteers to bake, the list is in PTO Manager. When we need volunteers for a specific activity, the list is again in the Manager. PTO Manager has been extremely time-saving and helpful to us. We thank you and plan to continue to use it in the future.”

“One of our best investments this year was purchasing the PTO Manager software through PTO Today. This web-based software allows us to input our families’ contact information as well as the various ways they would like to volunteer at school or at home. Our volunteer coordinator can easily communicate with volunteers, create volunteer schedules and assign tasks for events as well as track volunteer hours. We utilize this software to send mass emails to our families to transmit our newsletters, special events and other announcements. In the future, we hope to be able to create our student directory. This software will also make transition from outgoing Board members to incoming Board members very easy.”
