I am amazed at how many people respond positively to the design and layout of the emails. It has helped reduce the use of paper, since district budget is so small, anything our PTA organization copies we must supply our own paper. Not a problem this year. "Here's to an awesome website!!! I recently took over as our PTC President and I signed up for Parent Express Email because it is a great tool and resource for any PTC member! It has been an amazing way for me to communicate with the teachers and parents without the huge paper trail. With everything going green, it was important to me to eliminate paper waste. I love the fact that I can also attach all of our flyers, rosters, etc. We have to follow a specific policy in our school to send home flyers in backpacks, so this is a nice addition to ensure parents get it when a flyer does not make it home in a child’s backpack for some reason. I created lists for all of our events for the year, so when I'm sending out an email for a specific event it just goes to the members I need. At each meeting I remind and encourage members to check the website frequently. It definitely has made my job easier as President."
