How it works
Parents access PaySchools through your school’s website. They select the activities/products they want to pay for and then complete the secure transaction using credit cards or electronic checks. The payments are automatically processed, and the money is transferred to your parent group’s bank account.

Reducing the number of checks/cash makes the life of a treasurer much easier. Fewer checks/cash is also safer for two reasons - you don't have to worry about lost/stolen money and you have a better audit/reporting trail. Finally - taking credit cards is a great way to make it easier for your parents to pay, (there’s a reason why most businesses accept credit cards!)

Low transaction fee with no hidden costs
The fee is a straight 4% on all transactions – both credit cards and electronic checks. There are no additional per transaction fees. Since parent groups often deal with small charges, this is especially beneficial. In addition, there are no early termination fees, chargeback fees, or insufficient funds fees. Bottom line is we believe the fee structure is the best we have seen for parent groups.
