This year, the NFL will award 34 schools with a $10,000 grant and an NFL team celebration at their school to celebrate their win. It’s an easy-to-enter contest, requiring only that you register your school and answer three simple questions. The questions focus on how your school celebrates the return of football season, what the physical education program includes, and what your school is doing to teach kids about healthy eating and being active.

Registration for the NFL PLAY 60 Super School Contest begins Aug. 1 at 12 p.m. Eastern Standard Time and runs through Sept. 13.
Last year, 34 schools each won a $10,000 grant. If you check our NFL grant winner gallery, you can take a look at how some schools put the funds to good use for such fitness enhancements as a climbing wall, mini golf equipment, fitness track, and in-classroom exercise equipment.
In addition, past winning schools have enjoyed the NFL team celebration! At the NFL PLAY 60 Super School visits, NFL players, mascots, cheerleaders, or coaches will spend a morning at each winning school. They’ll present the $10,000 grant at a school assembly and even provide a physical education class for a selected group of students.

**Grant awarded in the form of a check payable to the winning school. NFL team celebration includes a visit to winning school by one or more cheerleader(s), mascot or NFL player(s). No Purchase Necessary to Enter or Win in the 2013 NFL PLAY 60 Super School Contest (hereafter, “Contest”). Starts 12:00:00 p.m. ET on 8/1/13, ends 11:59:59 p.m. ET on 9/13/13 (“Promotion Period”). Open only to those who are, as of registration date: (i) legal residents of the 50 U.S. or District of Columbia; (ii) 18+ years; and (iii) either a school Administrator, Teacher or a leader or director of a PTA, PTO or other school approved parent organization representing a public, state-accredited private school or vocational school with grades between K and 8th.
