    The article on Big California PTA Embezzle about the woman who stole $40,000 from Eurekea Elementary in Granite Bay, CA is incorrect. That school has a Parent Teacher Club and is NOT affiliated with PTA. Sounds like they need a PTA to train their treasurer and board about audits every year.

    Yes, looks like they used the term PTA in the headline and then specified the group is a PTC in the article. Regardless of acronym, an audit (and insurance) is always a good idea.
