Tide sampling program - Update
January 22nd, 2008 by Kathryn LA few weeks ago I posted about a Tide sampling program we’re launching this month. You might recall that participating groups will be able to give Tide samples (it’s a brand new type of Tide — it actually has Dawn in it, we’re told — that Tide would love families to try out) to moms and dads at an upcoming school family event.
We just found out that the samples will be ready for distribution in phases over the next month, rather than in one fell swoop, so I wanted to outline how the program will work and when you can sign up to participate.
PTO Today Plus members get first dibs so we’ll be emailing some of our Plus members today and the rest of our Plus members in February. When the distribution company receives the final shipment of samples I’ll post a note on the blog (and likely in the weekly newsletter) with details on how everyone can sign-up to participate. Keep in mind there are a limited number of spots so you’ll want to sign up quickly if you’d like to participate.
I know it sounds a little more complicated than usual but the reason we’re doing it this way is so you don’t sign up and then have to wait weeks for your samples. We’d rather have the samples ready to go so you can plan your event and not worry about receiving the shipment in time.

Hi all - I just checked with our project manager and it looks like the remaining samples will be arriving mid-February. As soon as they arrive I’ll post a note here on the blog so I’d suggest checking back over the next few weeks.

Hi Jenyse - I’m not entirely sure if you’ll get an email or not for this one. There are usually a limited supply of samples so sometimes we email certain groups, for example Plus members. Other times we just post the information on the blog and website. It depends on how many samples are available.
We’re still waiting for the second shipment to be ready for distribution so I don’t have any new news on this yet. I will post here as soon as I have more information.

We would greatly appreciated if we were selected. Several of our families are very low income. It is very nice of Tide to do this for schools to be able to give to their families.

I was just wondering, our school received the free Tide samples and we had our Spirit Night back in April. When will we know if we won a Target Gift Certificate? We have a large low income population and that will help us help them.
