I am new to the PTO. I was just elected as president of our elementary school PTO. The PTO is the sponser of our elementary school cub scout pack. The district is starting to charge the cub scouts to use the building for their meetings. The cub scouts are now asking the PTO to pay these fees. Can we pay these fees for them? -
Yes, you can pay the fees. If they're at all substantial, though, you should make sure you have fairly broad support for spending money raised by the PTO in that way.
