Board of Ed vs PTO Officer

Can a member of the Board of Education also be our president in our school PTO?

I don't know if this helps, but the by-laws of our school board require the PTO president to be a voting, ex-officio member of the board. What do the by-laws state?

As long as that board of education member meets the requirements in your bylaws to be PTO president and is elected to the job, I don't see a problem. Do you have specific concerns?
