Q&A

Are PTOs Constrained By The Brown Act?

Are PTOs constrained by the Brown Act in California?
- Brian Donahue

The same question was brought forward to me concerning Hawaii's Sunshine Laws. That too is aimed at county and state government. In Hawaii, PTO's are bound by the Hawaii Non-Profit Corporations Act (Chapter 414-D, Hawaii Revised Statutes).
