Question: Questions to ask last year's President

I am going to be the PTO president at my daughter's school next year. I'm excited, but very nervous. I have no idea what I am suppost to do! I'm speaking of getting events in order and the legal business of it mainly. The current president and I will be meeting for lunch next week. What are some question I need to ask her?

I am in the same position with you having just been elected to be President for next year. I've met once with the current President (so far) and some of the things she shared with me that I think will be invaluable are: Teachers that are always there for PTO, parents that are always willing to help, things she found that worked and things she found that didn't and why she believes they did or didn't work. She has been very willing to share anything and everything, and I believe will continue to do so for an easy transition, she will also be our Secretary next year so that may be some motivation for us to work together. Good luck to you!
