Dissolving a non profit organization

Do to lack of parent and instructor involvement we need to dissolve our organzation. Can anybody tell me what steps I need to take as I am the president. Thanks.

This is not an answer to your question, just my opinion. Being that getting non-profit status is time consuming at best, and difficult at worst, why not just leave the organization intact but on a hiatus type status?
