Well it depends on the donation. If it's $20 a thank you card is good. At our elementary school the bank that we have our account with pays for our magnet calendars and so we give them a fruit basket or basket baked goods made by our hospitality committee with a thank you card made by the kids and signed by student council. One of our parents donated his services, he's a professional auctioner, and he just wanted a letter stating our thank yous for what he did, to write off his time.
