Conflict of Interest for teacher assistant to be treasurer?

Do you think there is a conflict of interest for teacher assistant/office asst. to be PTO treasurer? We do not have bylaws in our PTO group.

Personally, I'm in favor of welcoming anyone willing to volunteer their their time and talent to help out. I don't see any conflict of interest in the situation you describe. Do you have any specific concerns?
