Question: Determined to offer a gift....

Hello, I am reaching out to everyone and anyone. I have one son who started kg this year at a school that could give the gift of a life time by teaching both English-Speaking students and Spanish-Speaking students. I replied to a letter sent home requesting interested parents for the board members of the PTO. I was contacted today for confirmation of my attendance since two parents out of five hundred students replied to the notice sent. Apparently, a PTO board member has not been a parent but rather teachers for the past five years. To give a quick run down on my new adventure. - the parents are disappointed and outraged on their children education - the teachers are disrespectful, unconcerned and not motivated what so ever. - their is a great barrier between the school, teachers and parents but more so the Spanish-Speaking parents - I have no clue what to do but determined that changed will be made I need to know if I will be able to offer the parents the opportunity to be heard and changes to come if they in return make is a priority to offer the same to the teacher and how to do this....
