Got Membership?

Any Ideas to boost our membership? ? Our membership has never been given 100% effort. I would like to change that this next school year. ?

Question: How do you define membership? Are you looking for more involvement or more people to pay dues (thus fundraising)? I think those are two different goals.

Looking for people to pay dues. We charge $5. Our school only keeps $1 and change from this the rest is sent over to our District PTA. One idea from a local school was to host a sphaghetti dinner. They charged $5. That bought them their membership and their plate of sphaghetti with drink and salad. It's not a money maker and that's what I'm going for. Any ideas?
