Typically, the executive board and the board are just different ways to refer to the same group. A distinction you might make is between officers and board. Your officers are your president, vice president, treasurer, and secretary. Your board (or executive board) is made up of those officers and might also include people in other positions, such as your fundraising chair, volunteer coordinator, or teacher liaison.
