Auction off pick your teacher

If the principle is ok with idea, is it possible to auction off Parent gets to pick their childs teacher for the following year?

Is your principal OK with it? I'd say it's his call, but I can see why he might think it sends the wrong message about class assignments. For one thing, some children do benefit by having a specific teacher -- he might be concerned about parents making the best choice in that kind of situation.
