Due to a recent tragedy at my daughter's school, I would like to create a Safety Town program. I remember going to Safety Town when I was in elementary school, but there's nothing like that around our area. I think the children would enjoy participating and would be learning at the same time. Do anyone know what we would need to get this started? - mmcaldwell
You might start with local police and fire officials to see whether they have any resources you can call on. There's a good chance they would be happy to support a safety program for school children in their community.
