A scan of our message boards shows that there are very different approaches to swearing in officers. I found one example that was very formal and involves swearing to uphold the United States constitution: http://www.ptotoday.com/boards/21-day-to-day-pto-management/103998-swearing-in-officer. Another example was very light-hearted and amusing and involves bestowing candy to the newly elected officers as they are sworn in: http://www.ptotoday.com/boards/30-file-exchange-wanted-uploaded-questions/149430-executive-board-swearing-in-ceremony. So, many different choices. We're also familiar with schools that do not do any swearing in ceremony at all. Good luck!!
