District trying to take over the PTO and our funds
Our district is not recognizing the PTO as stable organization. To summarize them, we are a fly by night organization, here today gone tomorrow, loosely organized. They have threatened that formal policies will be in place by the start of the new school year, if our PTO's financial records are are not turned over - the district can shut us down.
We need help! Any options? And how to start this process? Do we have any legal rights? Who can help us? -
