Nominations/Elections

If your PTO has had nominations and you said "nominations are closed". Are they closed? Or can a person still decide to run the day of elections?

First step would be to check your group's bylaws. There could be rules regarding the nomination process that would clear this up for you. However, we encourage groups to use a nominate-from-the-floor procedure to allow any and all folks who are interested in participating as an elected officer the chance to participate.
