Question: President removed child from school

Hi, I am hoping someone can help with this dilemma. Our local president has decided that her child's teacher is too mean and worthless so she has removed him to homeschool. She is also going to homeschool one of his friends. However, she has 2 more children in the school who are staying. She is bad mouthing the school and teachers on Facebook. She told me that she WILL remain president and there is nothing we as fellow officers can do about it. How would you suggest we handle this? Nothing in our bylaws about officer qualifications.

Hi anonymous,
At the very least, it is worth having a discussion about how a parent group president is supposed to represent the group. The president is the official rep to the community and any kind of negative behavior trashing the school or its staff can be very damaging to your group.
