Question: Principal & Teachers Dissolve PTO

Can the principal/teachers dissolve PTO without the parents' input? I find it very disturbing that the teachers/principal do not want parents in/involved with the school.

Some PTOs are formed almost as committees of the school, and their bank accounts are controlled by the school, so if that's the case with yours, then they probably can. Might be worth a meeting with the principal to understand her thought process. She might not be against parent involvement per se--maybe she's just anti-fundraising for some reason. Or maybe she feels like she's not getting enough support from parents and teachers are having to do a lot more to run the PTO than they are comfortable doing.
