Question: Role of PTO when a Teacher Resigns

We had a very loved teacher abruptly resign. Obviously this is an HR issue and the school has been very straight forward with its communication. The teacher, on the other hand, has taken to social media to air grievances. My fear is that the one sidedness of the conversation will divide the community, what role should the PTO play.

I'm thinking your group should stay out of this. If a situation pops up where comments are made about your group that you think are unfair, you could ask the principal for help. But, your best course of action is to not get involved.
