Reimbursement

Should PTO be reimbursing food costs for off campus meeting gatherings? We have a group that meets monthly at a restaurant and wants to be reimbursed for their dining.

In my opinion, NO WAY! The funds raised for the PTO should be used for the children and things/programs for them, not for people eating.

You can choose to not meet at a restaurant. Because that is the choice you made, the funds raised should not be spent to accommodate that choice.
