PTA coming to an end?

Hi - it seems as if none of the existing officers are interested in returning nor has any potential new officer been identified. What happens if by nomination meeting nobody new has sent in their application and none of existing officers are willing to stay on?

Hi, Anonymous -- this is not the first time we've heard this question. In fact, it's being discussed right now in our PTO & PTA Leaders Facebook group! So you are not alone.

We have a few good ideas in the post "When No One Steps Up To Lead", including reaching out to incoming kindergarten parents and grandparents of current students. Beyond stepping up your recruitment efforts, the best you can do is leave things as well-organized as possible so that next fall, when we hope some people step up to fill the void, they'll be able to hit the ground running.
