Pto elections

We had nominations last week and no parents stepped up to be PTO for next year.I get notified a week later that four parents want to be Pto.Do we do another election before the year ends or will they wait until August?They are requesting it before school ends? What to do ?

Do your bylaws have any guidelines for this situation? In general, it would be better to have officers for the next school year in place before summer break starts. That way officers can start planning and school staff members know who to contact if needed. - Emily from PTO Today
