motion for funds

a pto board member asked for the PTO to fund 5th grade moving up tshirts$500...the PTO president set the motion and today the principal said it was null and void bc he wasn't made aware before hand. can he do this after the PTO members already voted for it?

You need to look into your bylaws to see if the principal needs to be present for a vote to go through. If it is not in your bylaws then you can go to Roberts Rules. Good luck!
