Hi there - take a look at your bylaws for any language about former or current board members taking on future positions. It isn't unusual for a PTO board members (particularly in cases where there is a shortage of volunteers) to take on new roles. If there isn't anything in your bylaws excluding the past president from having a current role, there isn't a reason not to allow it. -Liz from PTO Today
