Our by-laws state up to 3 candidates may run for a position. We use a nominating committee. A full slate was brought forward with 4 positions open. One of the positions had two candidates. After the nominations were closed but several hours later one of the two candidates dropped out. If we still have one candidate do we need to open the nominations again? Thank you. - strohc49
If your bylaws aren't specific about this - it sounds like since the candidate dropped out after the nominations were closed, you don't have to reopen.
