Our treasurer has been charging personal online purchases to her PTO debit card. She claims it was an accident however it has happened multiple times over a period of 6 months. Should I report this to the police? Should we make her step down as treasurer? What are the protocols for a situation like this? What 'skind of authority do I have as president in this situation? It's a significant amount. Even if it was an accident, which I'm not sure if it was, she still failed to do her job as treasurer by not checking the account, matching receipts, and proper book keeping. Please help! -
