So on August 10 I was elected as President of my PTA by the outgoing board due to the pandemic. I also had a treasurer elected in absentee the same day. However she resigned this week. I have a fundraiser supposed to start next week, Grocery link checks to deposit, expenses that were already preapproved from last years board that need payments, website fees, and insurance payments due in the next 30 days. Can I legally make deposits and pay bills until I get someone to take on the roll of Treasurer?
