Corporate annual report

Oh, yeah, in MA there's the form for the sec of the commonwealth, which just needs the officers and date of the last meeting; and then there's the financial report that's due to the attorney general's office (public charities division).

Good advice, I called the KY secretary of states office and all the annual report is the list of current officers and a $4.00 filing fee.

Interesting enough...I cannot use this form to change the registered agent or primary address. For those new to this the registered agent is the person authorized to file the paperwork. Since this is our first year, it is the same as the president, (me).

Also in MA, the report is due a few months after the close of your fiscal year. Does the notice say it was due on that date, or that the report for the year ending on that date is now due? Maybe they have the wrong fiscal year for you.

MA also has a web site where you can view reports filed in the past -- of course, you have to hope that someone actually did this in your past, or maybe you can look up another PTO in your town.

In Massachusetts the annual report is filed through the Secretary of State and is a very simple one page so I would check with them for Kentucky. Also check and see if there is a fee involved.

I got a postcard reminding me that the Commonwealth of Kentucky requires an annual report.

(Interesting that they expected it on the day our fiscal year ended (June 30th), leaving no time to close the books)

I've seen the Annual Reports (books) that Fortune 500's put out. Does anyone have an example of a condensed version that a PTO might issue? I am interested even if your state is different and has a similar requirement.
